Gav was brilliant. Very thorough with his questions before hand and made sure to play the type of stuff we requested. He obviously cares very much about his clients, we felt very looked after. We had the Mighty Fozzy DJ our wedding reception. From first meeting Gav, we knew he was going to be amazing! He took time and care making sure we had the songs we wanted played and any we didn’t were kept out of the set. He kept the guests engaged all night and I couldn’t stop dancing as he kept playing banger after banger. A genuinely lovely man who absolutely made our wedding day! The Mighty Party Band played at our wedding in June, and they were amazing. We can’t thank the guys enough for everything! So many of our guests have asked who the band were. Such a talented group, with a wide range of songs to get everybody dancing even in the smallest of weddings like ours. We’d highly recommend the band to anybody. I cannot recommend Gav enough — he is an outstanding DJ and genuinely the life and soul of any party. We first met him in 2023 when he was included in our wedding package, and he went above and beyond from the start. He met us beforehand to chat through our music tastes, what we did and didn’t want, and he really took the time to understand us.

On our wedding night he absolutely smashed it. We’ve been to plenty of events where the DJ hasn’t read the room and the atmosphere has fallen flat, so this was our biggest worry — but Gav was flawless. He kept the dancefloor full all night, blended our music tastes perfectly, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how brilliant he was. He even surprised us by introducing our first dance with the Imperial March after noticing my husband’s love of Star Wars, which was such a fun personal touch.

Since then, we’ve booked him for every event — my sister‑in‑law’s 21st, my husband’s 30th, and he’s already booked for my 30th next year. He remembers our favourite songs, drops in little nods to our wedding that always make us smile, and he’s always up for a bit of fun. At our last party, he teased the intro of Break Stuff throughout the night to wind up a friend who’s obsessed with it, and it was absolutely hilarious.

Gav is not only incredibly talented but also a genuinely lovely guy who goes above and beyond to make sure your event is the best it can be. We wouldn’t even consider booking anyone else.

Myself and my wife Becki used Fozzy for our recent wedding DJ along with Sarah and the photobooth which was amazing to capture the crazy photos from the guests we would not have had the chance to see, digital photos and a photobook and prints for all the guests!

Gavin was on time and got set up quickly without any problems atall and played a the few requests we had from guests aswell as our playlist we had already planned prior, top equipment and sound system and much more, not forgetting the top personality both brought to our wedding on the night.

We booked the Mighty Party Band for a big Back To The Future themed national conference event held in Cardiff. The band were amazing, came dressed for the theme and even learned some of the songs from the movie to play on the night, as well as their usual set. Fozzy saved our wedding after our DJ cancelled last minute and honestly it worked out for the best! The dancefloor was packed all night, the music was spot on and he kept the energy going.
